to begin with

I was mildly and lovingly chastised recently for not posting anything on my blog for so long. I have two ready excuses for this: 1) So much is going on in my life and in my head that I don't know where to start. And 2) The longer I go without writing the more strange it is that I haven't written in so long and the more I feel that if I do write, I need to say something extraordinary. And so I end up saying nothing at all.
